The things we learned today

We talked about 5 different angles and 2 other ones.

A straight angle is any angle that is exactly 180 degress.
A Reflex angle is any angle that is greater than 180 and less then 360 degress.
A right angle is any angle that is exactly 90 degress.
A Obtuse angle is an angle that is greater than 90 and less than 180 degress.
A acute angle is any angle that measures between 0 and 9 degress.

The other 2 angles are:
The complementary angle is any 2 angles that add up to 90 degress. This is really a right angle.
The supplementary Angle is two angles that add up to 180 degress.

Also the dot in every angle is called a vortex.

Point: A geometric element that indicates position, but has no size.( you cannot measure a point.)

After we talked about Line.

Line:Are set of points in a straight line. They extend forever in both directions.
Ray: A set of points that form a straight line. A ray starts st a point and extends fovever in one direction.
Line segment: Part of a line with two end points

Thats all we did in class.

Not too bad Francis, but you never included how we write the angles. For an example of this go and check out this Scribe Post
